How to Get a Driving Licence
There are two ways to get a driving licence:
* Learning theory and practice at the driving school;
* When preparing for the the driving-theory exam independently as an external candidate. Read more here.

If you are also preparing for the theory and practical test at a driving school, you will need:
- Pass the final assessments of driving theory and practice at the driving school and get a driving school mdriving-school course-completion record (submitted to the Regitra system) ;
- Pass the driving theory and practice exams at Regitra.
1. Get a driving school course completion certificate (duration - about 6 weeks)
After choosing a driving school you will sign a training contract. You will attend theory lectures at school.
If you want to learn KET really well, we recommend attending theory lectures and studying at the same time KET tickets and solve the tests on this page.
After learning the theory and passing the final driving-theory assessment at school, you will learn practical driving with instructor (minimum duration – 30 academic hours).
You will be able to at some schools obtain a medical certificate, complete a first-aid course - you will need these certificates when submitting documents for the "Regitra" exam.
Having passed final driving assessments at school (theory and practice), you will get mdriving-school course-completion record (reported to the Regitra system).
2. Pass the driving exams at Regitra

First register for the driving theory test (by phone, online or upon arrival at AB "Regitra" branch) and with mdriving-school course-completion record (notification to the "Regitra" system), health certificate, first-aid course certificate, identity document and paid receipt attend the exam.
